E. Signs for Nonconforming Uses: Nonconforming uses which are otherwise permitted by these regulations may obtain permits for signage in conformance with the least intensive zoning district in which the use is permitted by right.

8.16. Appeals Any person who has been denied a permit under the provisions of this sign code or disagrees with a decision of the City Administrator with respect to an interpretation of any provision of the sign code has the right to appeal that decision to the City Commission. All appeals must be filed within 10 days from the decision of the Director. The City Commission shall render a finding regarding an appeal based upon the intent of the sign code.
